thanks both of you :-) if you have trouble replicating, I am using Microsoft Edge Version 92.0.902.78 (Official build) (64-bit) and Malwarebytes Browser Guard version2.3.6 It happens when i go to support > smartswitch

in my case it was support > smartswitch

samsung.com.uk blocked by browser guard with Website blocked: samsunguk.api.useinsider.com is this correct or a false positive?

Not sure if the question has been asked yet, I did do a quick search, but wasn't able to find the answer. how does the subscription model affect resellers, with the lifetime licenses, I just ordered in bulk and sold as required, as there was no worry about end of life. with version 2, if I order a bulk lot, does the license subscription start from when I order, or from when it's first activated?

I had to do a system restore on windows 8, as I was unable to get to safe mode, luckily I had a restore point only a couple of days ago, so didn't lose to many programs, malwarebytes anti-malware straight away picked up the new update, so now I am up and running, with only 1 program to reinstall.

have you ever considered creating a bootable disk image /os independant version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware? i wouldn't mind paying for such a version, could be useful for technicians.

they are not false positives they are flagged as potentially unwanted programs, as they can be used to get passwords from a machine, someone who doesn't know about computers may have had these installed by someone, to get access to the said passwords.
