Recommended Posts

Sorry, my English is very bad.

Hello,
I was very pleased with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300.

I have now installed the new, latest version 2.xxx.

After starting the system, the program start the program window is not completely on the desktop.
It can be seen above left, but only a small corner of the bottom right-hand program window is displayed.

Not movable. Program so not usable.
When I put the Destop to 1920x1440, the window is fully visible, but is still wider than the desktop (also known as the taskbar).

In short:
The program window does not fit on to the Windows desktop.

system:
17-inch monitor, 1024x768
XP 32 bit, SP3, made screenshot, is often sent.

Hi:

Your English is fine (and you can always use Google Translate, if need be).

I have seen that issue reported once or twice a few weeks ago here at the forum.

I'm not sure what the cause or solution was.

I suspect it might have something to do with your display settings and/or video setup.

(There were some display bugs identified during beta testing, but I am pretty sure those were already fixed.)

I'm not sure if you upgraded to 2.0 on top of 1.75, or if you did a clean upgrade?

If you upgraded on top and if rebooting your computer doesn't fix it, the first thing would be to try a clean reinstall: MBAM Clean Removal Process 2.x.

Be sure to disable Self-Protection (Settings > Advanced Settings) if it is enabled, and be sure to reboot when prompted.

Let us know how it goes,

Hi:

Sorry to hear that didn't fix it.

I suspect it might be something with your system display or other configurations.

Let's get some preliminary logs as a first step.

The staff will probably need more detailed info about your specs and set-up, but this will provide a starting point.

Please follow the steps in this pinned topic >>Diagnostic Logs<< and then please post back with the logs attached to your reply.

The staff will review them and advise you further.

Thanks for your patience,

Hello:

Google Translate:

That's getting close, but not exact.
Unfortunately I can find no further contribution to the subject.

Yes, that was one of the posts I had in mind.

Well, let's get some basic logs to help the staff.

Please follow the steps here and then post back the logs: Diagnostic Logs

Google Translate:

Thanks/Vielen Dank,
