  1. FYI, I got sudden complete system lock-ups with the combination of MBAM2Pro+MSE randomly when browsing, but only if the Web Protection module was enabled. I tried various other AVs instead of MSE and had similar problems with some but not all. Avira Free though seems to behave. BTW, you've a lot of odd errors on your system and timeouts. The one that stands out to me is "The driver detected a controller error on \DeviceHarddisk1\DR1". Try an app like CrystalDiskInfo and see if you have SMART errors from your drive.
  2. Thank you for your willingness to help. Since I'm a paid customer, I'll use the formal channels. I know there's nothing particularly sensitive in any of those logs but it doesn't seem prudent to put them up for unfettered public consumption. It's a bit like putting the blueprints for your house, a list of its contents and its security arrangements online :-) Thanks again.
  3. Thanks for that. Scan results all in here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12596937/ScanResults1.zip Will PM you the password.
  4. Thanks. The first machine is only OK with Web Protection disabled. Is there anything I can try to make that work without it locking the machine entirely when I use a browser?
  5. Windows 7 x64 SP1 (fully patched) with MS Security Essentials and WinPatrol installed and Bitlocker enabled. 1. Uninstalled MBAM 1.75. 2. Uninstalled MBAExploit 3. Ran your Cleanup app. 4. Rebooted 5. Installed MBAM 2. Added exception for MSE folder. All appeared fine until next boot. Now, the moment I try and log in to outlook.com, the PC freezes up entirely. I did a reset and then turned off malicious website checking. Now all is well. Rootkit scanning is already switched off due to Bitlocker. I also have a different PC in a different house which behaved exactly the same except I'd done an in-place upgrade. On that one, I then uninstalled, ran cleanup and reinstalled and it appears to be OK. I'll know for sure though mid-week when I next get to use it. Thanks for any suggestions.
  6. Oh and what about MB Anti Exploit? Is that OK too with MBAM2?
  7. I've always used MBAM v1.x Pro along with MS Security Essentials using the guide in the FAQ here. Is this procedure all unchanged in v2 or are there new process names etc. Thanks!
  8. Hi. I'm having the same problem for a few months now - having finally traced the cause I've come here and found this thread. It's just the website protection module that causes it. My motherboard is an ASUS P5B - Intel P965 chipset, Intel E6420 Core 2 Duo. Here's the screenshot where you can see the effect of turning the module on and off.
