I wonder if someone can advise me here, but I tried to update malwarebyte this morning and run a check on my pc as it was running slowly. I updated and then it told me that another version was running and i closed it re-started and when i tried to run it came up with an error message 703. Now I tried to uninstall it so i can rund a re-install but it comes up with this message: Runtime Error (at 1:0): Cannot Import dll:C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Maware mbam.dll. This is what I am having trouble with. Please help someone Cheers

Do appreciate the reply, but after many hours of working through the Repair console I find that the desktop is reluctant to copy quite a few files over and will take me forever to copy them over manually. This is a friends pc and his friend who made the pc up for him took a copy of the drive, so its on its way up to him to rectify...I keep telling him not to go on those sites!!! Thank you..

The desktop boots up and goes into the welcome screen. when you log in it then immediatly says "saving your settings and comes back to the welcome screen again. This also happens on safe mode.

I had a mates pc which was riddled with many viruses. Some of which could not be detected via the spybots etc....I used this software and it picked up all of them. I then removed these, and now the pc wont boot up. It gives me the welcome screen and then when I log in it shuts down. Any suggestions. It does sound like I have deleted some registry stuff maybe, but is there anyway to remedy this problem other than re-install?
