  1. A Moderator is not a staff member of Comodo. The same as your opinion are not that of Malwarebytes, the guy also put just kidding at the end of the comment for heaven sake. DV certs are issued to malware authors by all the big companies, Symantec included. I suggest to the OP to do his own research and goes the horses mouth (Comodo Forums) rather than relying on the 3 year old links. BTW I do not use any Comodo products but people seem to have an unreasonable amount of hatred for this company.
  2. This only occurred with the Malwarebytes icon, all others icons are fine. This is also a clean install of windows from a week ago. I had the installer for 1.61.0.1300 on my data disk and used that to install then upgrade to latest straight after installation. As i said it seems to be the upgrade that caused it. daledoc - I used the Microsoft fix it supplied by exile360. I just checked the option to rebuild icon cache. Cheers
  3. Hi guys, thanks for the help. Rebuilding the Icon cache fixed it. I have tested this and it seems upgrading from version 1.61.0.1300 to 1.61.0.1400 causes this on my machine. Regards,
  4. Hello, apologies if this is a known issue. On my Windows 7 64 bit machine the Malwarebytes icon on the task bar is not displaying correctly. See the attached screen shot. Cheers Shaun
  5. I would have edited my post but i couldn't figure out how. You can ignore my above post i just ran mbam-clean.exe (you can get it from Here) then done a fresh install and it it is now working fine. I suggest you do the same kzinti1. Thanks shaun
  6. I have the exact same problem, Both full scan and quick take only a few seconds. no matter how many drives i select in full scan. A right click scan of my C: drive takesa good 15 minutes or so but when i run a full scan from the main interface and selct my C drive it takes 7 seconds. MBAM seems to be skipping scannign the drive, it will scan a few things in system32 etc then will do the additional scan at the end then finish. And every scan i run seems to have a similer number of objects scanned around 146923, no matter how many drives i select. I am running windows 7 home premim 64bit MSE altest version with MBAM exclusions as per threads on here. UAC in Silent mode EMET 2.1 Configured to maximum and only Internet facing apps added to list. I had the same problem with the Beta but was hopeing it would be fixed with the final release. (I only noticed it on sunday) Cheers Shaun
