  1. After updating to version 1.65.1.1000 (automatic update) Windows 7 will not load up. If I go into SAFE MODE, change Malwarebytes so it doesn't load at startup and restart the computer I have no problems. I downloaded and installed the program manually but still have the same problem. Any suggestions?
  2. Ever since I installed the new version of Malwarebytes 1.65.1.1000 WIndows 7 doesn't load up. If I boot Windows 7 in SAFE MODE, disable Malwarebytes then restart my computer I have no problem. Anyone else have a problem with this update????
  3. When I turned on my computer it said that there was a program update. After installing it I got the following: Program_Error_updating (0,0,DNSERROR) My computer kept locking up and I had to reboot my computer in SAFE MODE, turn off the protection then I had to download the program update and run it again. I had no problems after that.
  4. Thanks for the reply, but liked I stated already, restoring my computer back to the factory settings corrected this problem.
  5. Thanks for the reply!!!! I tried to attach a jpg of the problem but it didn't work! Anyway, I had to restore my new 2 month old computer to factory settings today so hopefully what ever that was is gone now. THANKS AGAIN!!!!
  6. The following keeps coming up from Malwarebytes (see attached pic). Can someone tell me what this means???? Never saw this until tonight.
  7. The Clock Tray Skins program. Malawarebytes stops you from going there so I'm not going to worry about this program. I downloaded and installed an atomic clock program at CNET and had no problems.
  8. Thanks!!!! I read some user comments about this program and I now remembered that this company doesn't do updates or answer any questions you may have about their programs.
  9. I notice that my computer doesn't like programs at the CNET website that is suppose to be safe. Malwarebytes keeps preventing me from going to the site. I'm trying to get the following program for my computer: Clock Tray Skins I really like this program and had it on my old computer. Can someone try going to the below site and see if they you have a problem: http://www.drive-software.com I already allowed Malawarebytes to allow me to access another website that I couldn't get to.
  10. That why I liked the free version of Avast. Because it scanned emails. Since a newer version Avast came out I'm going to see happens.
  11. Thanks for the reply! It doesn't say it scans emails though.
  12. As far as I know I don't have Microsoft Security Essentials. Why do I need that anyway???? And if it is on, why can't you just turn it off or uninstall it????
  13. How come I never had an issue with Malwarebytes and Windows XP????
  14. I still want a different program to replace Avast 7. I didn't like having to manually install Avast 7 (run in Windows Safe mode and use their program to completey uninstall Avast 6 before installing Avast 7) when I had Windows XP before a previous definitions update caused problems when trying to install it.
  15. I have a brand new computer (using WIndows 7) and I'm not happy with Avast 7 since they changed. I never had any problems with the earlier versions of Avast and Malwarebytes (using WIndows XP) but I think Avast 7 is causing conflicts when running Malwarebytes. I have am using the free version of Avast and would like a better antivirus program to replace it. Besides Avast I also have SuperAntispyware installed. I like the fact that Avast and Malwarebytes always warned me right away of problems but I no longer want to use Avast.
