  1. I decided to try setting an MBAM exclusion for folder C:\Users\???\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneDrive.
  2. Yes, same here. I use alt+tab so much is was kinda bugging me so I put version 3.1.2(.1733) back on. Figured it was just a glitch & would check again in a couple weeks. Thank you for posting, good to know it's not just me.
  3. Hi, I just upgraded to MBAM 3 (Thank you) but I see the Exclusions I had set in Defender now no longer apply. I would like to continue using Defender. Can someone tell me what Exclusions (if any) I should now have set under Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware? For example mbam.exe & mbamservice.exe. Any others? Thank you, Rich
  4. Now happening on Microsoft Edge as well.
  5. Same here & Google Chrome will not load as a result:
  6. Just upgraded to WinX & experiencing the same as others here: Installed MBAE 1.08 Beta on top of version 1.07.1.1015 (& again after reboot per instructions), said something about previous version had not been fully uninstalled. Which I believe you referenced as a result of the upgrade process - in one of the three or so threads I read before landing here. Looks to be working now. Thanks to all that input
  7. I thought if the two files in question were the same files listed in the FP https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/164049-power-dvd-dll-files-found-as-threats-pritty-sure-this-is-a-fp/ then there was no reason to be concerned? They were the exact same files. Anyway yesterday, after restoring the files & a successful clean scan I deleted all application logs. I did not handle this thread very well & a little more research on my part would have negated posting @ all. For that I apologize. thank you
  8. Hi & let me apologize if this really simple & I just can't see it. Have two files Quarantined but cannot read the Vendor name nor the Date. Both columns are truncated. in Vendor all I see ...hrome.INJ & in Date ...15 1:48:42 PM Would like to know the vendor & date. I do have scan logs going back three months, do I have to search each day's scan log? The files belong to PowerDVD (CyberLink) which I realize doesn't mean anything, could be bogus. On another note I have not logged in here in 7 months or so but somehow my password got whacked. Tried to send a reset to my username which did not work, however sending a reset to my email id worked immediately. Did something happen while I was gone? Thank you
  9. Hi 1PW, Sorry for late response, I forgot to track this discussion & was waiting for an email to appear. Yes it is 64-bit OS. Guess this is the text that concerned me from FAQ Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions - Section I Once you've started back into normal mode, reinstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, but do not enable the protection module yet But it looks like that only applies if already experiencing a freezing issue which is not the case. So I have added mbamdor.exe & mbampt.exe to the list of excluded processes in MSE. Earlier I added Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to the list of programs allowed thru Windows Firewall. Have no other Firewall in place. Going to perform a MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x & re-install (along with these steps) on the other PC now as well since I also did an upgrade months ago on it too. Am not experiencing any update issues on that PC but might as well have a clean MBAM on both. thank you, daemondog
  10. Hi, I got some help on facebook but surely should have come here. Did just an upgrade to MBAM premium a few months ago but today MBAM databases would not update & so did run the clean removal & reinstall which seems to have corrected that problem. Questions are: 1) MSE - currently I only have these files excluded in MSE: C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbam.exeC:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exeC:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamscheduler.exe but looks like I should add: C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamdor.exeC:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbampt.exeis this true? & if I remember the instructions properly I thought that had to be done before activating MBAM? of course I have already activated. 2) Windows Firewall I did not have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware in the Allowed Pgms for Windows Firewall. I suppose it would be a good idea to add that? thanks
  11. Well I did perform just an upgrade. Next will use the Clean Removal Process & a clean install of 2.0. See if that helps. thanks
