  1. Ran all the cleanup utilities. Your help has been very much appreciated, Thank You! Take Care & Regards
  2. It seems to be running fine now. I am no longer getting malicious website warnings from the domain ending in .cc. Initially, there were many of these. Also, I have not logged into my banking site since this first started, since I was getting a window there coming up stating that it was going to run some tests checking my browser security settings and such. I called my bank (Chase) to ask them about this, and they assured me, they have no such security system in place and to run a virus check. That is when I came here for help. I had changed my user name and password there from a different PC at that time. Do you think it is safe now to log into my Bank form this computer?
  3. The ESET scanner found no threats, and no way to save a log file was available. I suppose it only gives you that if it finds something.
  4. It is still not letting me paste anything into the reply, any ideas why? So, I have attached both the fixlog.txt and the MBAM log. The Threat Scan didn't find anything malicious. Fixlog.txt mbam-log 2014-04-13.txt
  5. Thank you for your assistance. I just found out this morning that while I was at work yesterday, my Son thought he would be helpful and try and fix this issue himself. I asked him what exactly he did, and he said he installed and ran Microsoft Security Essentials, and that it appeared to have fixed something. My apologies for any extra trouble this may cause in cleaning my system. I told him I am asking for help in a forum and that nothing should be changed on the machine. He has assured me that he won't change anything else. Here are the two logs that you have requested. A you can see, some of the files were not found, likely due to whatever he did yesterday. I am unable to paste the logs into the reply form here, so I am attaching the files. Fixlog.txt ComboFix.txt
  6. I just purchased Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium, and ran the threat scan. It showed that I was infected with the Trojan.FakeAlert.Gen. I have included two attachments which were generated after running the FarBar Recovery scan tool. Please assist me in removing any threats that are on my computer. FRST.txtAddition.txt.
