MBAE Version 0.10.0.1000 I'm running Windows 8.1 and the Minecraft launcher, as well as other .jar executables, is not opening up since I did the April 8 Windows 8.1 updates. They were opening up fine before the updates. While looking at Task Manager when attempting to run the launcher, Java Platform SE binary quickly pops up then closes. Things I have tried: Download latest launcher from website (Both .exe and .jar) Delete .minecraft folder and try to run Reinstalled Java (Both x86 and x64) Run as admin Run in compatability for Windows 7 Restarted computer multiple times In the Windows Event Viewer it shows multiple Application Error with Event ID 1000. The time these occur is when I try to run the Minecraft launcher.
