Recommended Posts

Hello MrC, I used your link above and also went into yahoo help chat on help.yahoo.com for messenger and this is what they told me to do and I did the following:

[12:22:28 PM] Tom: To re-install Adobe Flash Player, go to the following link:

[12:22:33 PM] Tom: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

[12:25:15 PM] Tom: As you're getting this error message, in this case, you need to close this chat window.

[12:25:37 PM] Tom: Once you have installed it, then please verify that Adobe Flash Player is working correctly: Go to the Adobe Check the status of Flash Player version page.

[12:25:49 PM] Tom: http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_15507

[12:27:16 PM] Tom: If this issue still persists, it's possible that the version of Yahoo! Messenger installed on your computer is corrupt.

[12:27:52 PM] Tom: Please wait, I need to provide some other steps as well.

[12:28:37 PM] Tom: To know how to uninstall and reinstall Yahoo! Messenger, please visit the link below:

[12:28:50 PM] Tom: http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=content&id=SLN1486&locale=en_US&y=PROD_MSNG_MSNG115

[12:29:05 PM] Tom: Next, clear the Yahoo! Messenger cache at this link:

[12:29:11 PM] Tom: http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?locale=en_US&page=content&y=PROD_MSNG&id=SLN461&actp=email

--------I DID NOT DO THIS------

[12:29:34 PM] Tom: To Reset the Web Browser Configuration, please visit the link below:

[12:29:39 PM] Tom: http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?locale=en_US&page=content&y=PROD_MSNG&id=SLN25&actp=email

[12:29:48 PM] Tom: These steps should be helpful in resolving your issue.

You'll have to deal with those issues.

A little cleanup to do.

Please Uninstall ComboFix:

Press the Windows logo key + R to bring up the "run box"

Copy and paste next command in the field:

ComboFix /uninstall

Make sure there's a space between Combofix and /

cf2.jpg

Then hit enter.

This will uninstall Combofix, delete its related folders and files, hide file extensions, hide the system/hidden files and clears System Restore cache and create new Restore point

---------------------------------

Please download OTL from one of the links below:

http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/OTL.exe

http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/OTL.com

Save it to your desktop.

Run OTL and hit the CleanUp button. (This will cleanup the tools and logs used including itself)

Any other programs or logs you can manually delete.

and also as i went to check my email in HOTMAIL I got this, I dont know if this has anything to do with it...

Your account has been blocked

Why are you seeing this?

Someone may have used your account to send out a lot of junk messages (or something else that violates the Windows Live Terms of Service). We're here to help you get your account back.

What do you need to do?

We'll ask you to provide us with a mobile phone number where we can send you a verification code and we'll add this phone number to your Windows Live profile for future use. After you enter the code, you can change your password and sign in.

We've cleaned your account settings.

Often customers get here because someone else has access to your account and are using it without your knowledge to send spam. To protect you and your contacts, we've removed any Hotmail auto-replies or linked accounts you may have had.

and a friend told me.....yes, i got an email from u and its not the type of email u would send me. something about "your time to shine" and a message about taking loans, and paying it back and some link that of course i will not open
