  1. Your issue might be as a result of Microsoft "Deprecation of Basic authentication in Exchange Online" which rolled out to all Microsoft accounts over the past few months. Last month, this affected all my Microsoft accounts using a 3rd party email client. Exactly your problem - suddenly it continually asked for passwords and did not sync. I had to remove and setup all my accounts again in my email client using a different email protocol. If you think this is relevant, the following links may help, otherwise you could seek support from Microsoft. General info about the change: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/clients-and-mobile-in-exchange-online/deprecation-of-basic-authentication-exchange-online How to switch your Outlook account from basic authentication: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/outlook-and-other-apps-are-unable-to-connect-to-outlook-com-when-using-basic-authentication-f4202ebf-89c6-4a8a-bec3-3d60cf7deaef
  2. Good news, I have the same issue, reported earlier.
  3. My problem may be a bit different. With some updates, MB automatically restarts, but produces this message that implies something serious has gone wrong. All I do now is when this warning appears and the MB icon has gone, I just ignore it and be patient until MB auto restarts a minute or so later. The message in this case needs to be changed to avoid user confusion.
  4. I get the following occasionally on different computers. Malwarebytes icon has disappeared, then reappears a few seconds later with RTP enabled. So I don't actually need to do anything. I think that this occurs when Malwarebytes does a restart after update. It's good to get this message in this situation. But the Manage settings and Turn on buttons are inoperative because MB has disappeared. To avoid confusion, I suggest that when quitting after an update to restart, MB produces a more appropriate message such as MB needs to restart - RTP will be temporarily disabled.
  5. ... and in this case, it hides the bottom of the window. UI is not adjustable. Same issue with UI on full screen
  6. Just installed on a PC with display settings 1920 x 1080, scale 150%. Either the top or the bottom of MB UI not displayed. In this case the window controls don't appear. Windows 11 latest.
  7. Quite useful. I noticed MB Trusted advisor said 70%. Looking at Software updates, Chrome was mentioned as needing an update. Opened Chrome / Help / About Google Chrome, and it updated.
  8. MB 4.6 on different PC advised that Google Chrome needed updating. Chrome also needed updating on this PC but not flagged by MB 5.
  9. Cannot reproduce. I ran scan again and it worked normally, it found 6 detections which I was able to Quarantine. Using Version: 5.0.13.84 Components Version: 1.0.1053 Update Package Version: 1.0.76538 The only difference was that since my original post there have been a few MB updates.
  10. I ran an advanced scan and on a USB drive E: it found 3 minor issues in the E: drive recycle bin. The report said "No Action By User" for each event. Nothing was quarantined. It says "no Action By User", but I wasn't asked what action to take? From the detection history, there doesn't seem to be a way of getting Malwarebytes to remove the threats. 11. Thanks When I started the computer to do what you suggested, it was already updated to .72, so I can continue testing. I hope future updates are a bit easier to get!
