Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO won't run

Recommended Posts

I bought the license back in 2012, and only recently it stopped running. I tried using mbam-clean-2.0.2.0 to remove it and reinstalled mbam-setup-2-0-1-1004. These are the error messages that display during installation:

Internal error: Expression error 'Runtime Error (at 57:177):

External exception E06D7363

The above message pops up 3 times during installation I think, and is followed by two more final error message:

Runtime Error (at 49:252):

External exception E06D7363

Internal error: Expression error 'Runtime error (at 35:89):
External exception E06D7363.'

After installation is finished and I try to run it, I just instantly get a "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware has stopped working" message, asking me to "Check online for a solution and close the program" or "Close the program".

Hello and :welcome:

You can certainly contact Consumer Support if you like but often they're very busy as well and often the forum can be quicker for some things.

I would recommend that you please run the following process which in many cases will correct issues with the new installation.

MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x

If that does not correct the issue then please read the following and post back the requested logs and we'll take a look and see what's going on.

Diagnostic Logs

Thank you.
