  1. Yes I realize my configuration isn't normal but it's one that works for me. As it's my work machine,I find having a dual boot helps. Anyway thanks for the suggestions and ideas..........I do have Cryptolocker installed . You can lock the thread as the original problem was solved, probably caused by my firewall. thanks again.
  2. Ok here you go. Those polices are probably rules created in Eset for double extensions. And I stopped the scan after an hour...........no need to continue. Addition.txt CheckResults.txt FRST.txt
  3. Well I reinstalled it after cleaning ,which I usually do after an uninstall anyway, and it's running a scan as I type this....................the only difference was I disabled the Program Guard in my firewall Online Armor. So I'll post those files later....................but I only use this for monthly scans as there has never been any malware on this computer, anyway. I'm a comp tech and I know exactly what is on this dual boot. The reason I try these apps out is to see how they'd do on my customer's different machines.
  4. Yes I un-installed it as I didn't see any need for keeping a program that was crashing. Thought I would check here first to see if anyone else was having problems. I'll update this tomorrow.
  5. CheckResults.txtFRST.txtAddition.txt Program crashing when trying to do a custom scan and this morning on trying again it just disappeared? This is the new version and I had no problems with the older one,
  6. I've just updated to the latest version and it's crashed 3 times in succession trying to do a custom scan. I've never had a problem with the older version............as it is ,it's uninstalled now.
  7. Here it finally worked, mbam_log_2010_02_10__20_16_46_.rar
  8. It's always the same program that it flags,,,,,,WINAVI VIDEO CONVERTER. And there's nothing wrong with that program,I've had it for years. I can't get an attachment to work?
  9. In the last 2 updates,MBAM keeps flagging these DV encoder entries? Before it was flagging Winavi as malware? http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=20krds6&s=6 http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=21jn9fp&s=6
  10. thx....why name it with such a suspicious handle ,though?
  11. After updating MBM,I got a request from Startup monitor to allow this file.........which I denied. Is this part of MBM? InnoSetupreg file
