BOOTMGR is missing

Recommended Posts

I ran the Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit program and it showed that it found items, which I did not write down. It showed that a reboot was necessary, and I rebooted. Upon the reboot, I now only get a black screen with "BOOTMGR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"

Is there anything I can do?

Please tap the F8 key during a restart and see if you can select Last Known Good Configuration

If not then see if you can press F8 and go into the Recovery Environment to fix the boot process.

Here are some links that show you how to get in and try a bootup repair.
