  1. Okay so the virus has definitely gone. My computer got hot as I had a few applications open at the same time. Playing a simple game makes my computer hotter than it used to before the virus had taken effect. Opening a few tabs with a video makes the fan whirr so much that you can listen to it. It would only whirr so much when I played Portal or Gunpoint which are not very CPU or GPU intensive games. Thoughts? Sorry for using 'whirr' I don't know the technical word of a fan rotating and making noise
  2. Okay I haven't taken it to the shop as I have school work. The virus seemed to be gone and the computer didn't get hot for a few days but now it does get hot. Is the virus back?
  3. What does MFG mean? HP has deleted the drivers page for my laptop. HP Pavilion dv6 6b25tx If I go to the drivers page it says that HP was unable to find the page. I am running Windows 7 64-bit. Should I get the fan checked out along with the screen?
  4. Ran it using default settings but the fan keeps whirring. I ought to get my fan checked out and I will do it before the screen repair. My laptop's fan had got spoilt but after the virus had infected. Videos don't stop or lag now (few weeks) and I think the virus is gone. But the fan of the computer only speeds up when I'm NOT moving the mouse which is very peculiar. What do you suggest to do?
  5. Also to support this a scan with RogueKiller shows 4 malware registry files. There were 2 before. There are also many drivers in the drivers tab. RKreport0_S_04302014_182907.txt
  6. Well it gets hot ONLY when my mouse is not moving. Hot air out of the air vents and higher sound of fan when the mouse is not moving. My fan had got spoilt before but now it only speeds up when the mouse isn't moving. I have to keep moving my mouse while playing a game to avoid overheating. My laptop screen works only on specific angles because of the overheating. I will give it in for repairing as soon as the problem is eliminated or it might get spoilt again.
  7. Nothing Again. Should I run Combofix again? TDSSKiller.3.0.0.33_29.04.2014_17.00.07_log.txt
  8. Hi! It had to reboot. Virus still present. The fixlist.txt was deleted though. Fixlog.txt
  9. There they are. I removed the uTorrent folder yesterday. I needed uTorrent to download linux you see. Also, what about those registry keys found by RogueKiller? They might be malware as they keep coming back on deletion. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  10. Good Morning (if you're reading this in the morning) Thanks for taking the time to help me out FRST3.txt
  11. JavaRa and TFC worked fine. TDSSKiller worked fine too I guess. I ticked everything in Change Parameters but it still didn't find anything. Logs are below. TDSSKiller log is the 2nd one. The JavaRa log won't upload due to some reason. (I also tried renaming it from .log to .txt but it still didn't work) Screenshots of the JavaRa log problem and the JavaRa log are also below. Thanks! Also, some unusual from Chrome for a while (4 days maybe). If Google Chrome is windowed (not fullscreen) the browser is like a rectangle with more height than width. If I change it, it will remain so till I close my browser. If I open Chrome again it returns to that same rectangular shape, not the one I set. Maybe related to the virus? 12. Hi! Thank you soo much. I ran ComboFix (from the desktop) and it worked. It deleted some files and registry keys but in the log file I couldn't file the registry keys that RogueKiller displayed. The virus doesn't seem to be gone. My computer is still hot. It may have gone though. What should I do next? Note: Can you please tell me why do we have to run ComboFix from the desktop? Sorry but I'm curious. ComboFix.txt
