  1. So how does it comes that SAS (and some other Windows-only scanners) are there? Does not VT use simulator for running those special customized (for VT) version of scanners?
  2. Hey! I did a quick search and did not find related topic, so I ask it here Are there any plan that Malwarebytes join VirusTotal? I mean become one of the scanner in there, like SAS did?
  3. Ok, Thanks for reply, may I take it as an official comment and quote in my blog?
  4. Thanks for response, good to know it's coming in next release, updating MBAM for slow internet is becoming a problem (As Database is growing everyday), when I started using MBAM database was less than 1MB and now 5-6MB
  5. An easy question! Are Virut/Virtu and Sality being detected by Malwarebytes? Either Real-Time or on-demand? If yes, are not Virtu and Sality being classified as file infector too? This is confusing me Because you say
  6. You are welcome! I don't know , anyway something has been wrong with database and this happened... maybe did not download right or maybe system restore copied an incompatible version or many problems else... that's something MBAM know...
  7. God bless you for asking this! this what I want mbam and they don't mind to release offline updater
  8. Hi, it's now working after auto-update too, Thanks for reply.
  9. I updated MBAM to lastest versions a few days ago, and then run it without problems, set it to auto update at night and then a quick scan. after 1-2 nights in morning instead of seeing scan result I saw "MBAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE (0, 5)" just re-run mbam and see it works no more and give me that error. I did take a look in forum and read an Elite Member (Firefox) answer to a question similar to mine. recommended to uninstall (and cleanup via mbam-clean.exe) and then reinstall. I'm lazy! I did not want to restart, so I just went to C:\programdata\malwarebytes\malwarebytes' anti-malware\ folder and rename rules.ref to rules.ref.bak and run mbam again, after run mbam said could not find database and asked to download a new one, I said Yup! it did and now MBAM works and it can scan.... is this what I did safe| or yet after that error I should clean install MBAM?
