  1. I use a Cable Internet connection. The computer I'm having trouble with is a wireless connection to my modem/router. I actually get the same problem from the computer directly connected to the modem/router as well.
  2. I don't see Windows Firewall having a web filter, should I just add this as if it were a program then? Avast is my anti-virus program and it doesn't have a firewall. I also use Windows Defender, is this a 2nd firewall through wWindows? Will I need to "allow" mbam items here as well? Thanks again. D-shot
  3. I just updated my Malwarebytes from 1.50.1.1100 to 1.51.0.1200 (both were the free versions). When I updated, it told me it downloaded the latest version and then installed it. When I launched the program and told it to check the updates after the installation I got the error message: PROGRAM_ERROR_UPDATING (12163, 0, IsInternetConnected). I'm running Windows Vista Home Basic SP2. I use Avast 6.0.1125, virus definitions version 110610-1 and Windows Firewall/Defender. Since I've been able to update Malwarebytes up to this version without any trouble I would assume it's a bug of some kind? I've also double checked to make sure that C:\Programs Files\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mabam.exe is on the exclusion list of trusted programs in Windows Firewall/Defender. Is there anything further I can do to fix this?
