  1. Symantec caught these Online PC Doctor scammers out, on Youtube. Same website reincarnated below as they gave this number (03) 90057088 http://forums.whirlp...archive/1362347 You will note it is the same contact number on the website below http://www.therepairzone.com/ Both scammer websites using the Malwarebytes Logo.. Just thought I'd bring to your attention.
  2. It wasn't MBAM that was the real issue. It was my windows 7 Desktop not responding. MBAM only stopped working at 1.00am AEDT when I had scheduled updates and also a quick scan. It is only 6.15 pm here so I will report back in morning .
  3. OK I have done that By towle at 2009-10-17
  4. It is always "stopped working" at the same time it is scheduled to update and run a quick scan at 1.00pm. I have Windows 7 Ultimate , When I get up in the morning , my computer is on, I can view desktop, but each time I click on an icon, nothing happens, the computer is frozen. I suspect it may have something to do with MBAM "stopped working" as this is the only event that occurs before I get up as per Windows 7 Reliability Monitor. 5. Hopefully you be passing on this feedback to your development team that they need to look at the wording of these alerts.
  6. Yes I did but doing so sort of defeats having this protection.
  7. Yes I have followed that. There is no infection detected with a quick scan.
  8. This pop-up warning even occurs when I am not even using the computer or visiting any web pages. I got up this morning and went to my computer and there was this pop-up warning of an infection and the IP address . The web browser wasn't even running.. This is becoming quite annoying and to say I am infected when I am not, is very misleading. It is more of an annoyance than any benefit. Sorry but it hasn't been implemented very well or thought out at all.
  9. I have "infection detected" appearing in system tray icon for Malware Bytes Antimalware with different IP's each time. I am doing a full scan but AMB has not detected any infection. Is this a false positive or a bug in the detection ?? What should I be doing ?
