Malwarebytes Anti-Malwarer Bug or Problem found

Recommended Posts

Hi: :)

Are you saying that your selection of the language as German does not "stick"'?
IOW it reverts back to English?
Or am I misunderstanding the problem? :(

Someone recently had a similar, "opposite" problem here: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=145768

Are you using German Windows, or English?
What happens if you use the drop-down menu in the settings window to select German/Deutsch and reboot the computer?

If that doesn't work, I would suggest that you please follow the directions exactly as shown here:
MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x

If that does not correct it, then please read the following and post back the requested logs as attachments to your next reply:
Diagnostic Logs

That should get you started troubleshooting, until the staff/experts can take a look.

Thanks,

Hmm.

That does sound like a bit of a bug.

I am unable to replicate it, as I don't yet have 2.00 EDIT: 2.0.1 on my systems.

>>I assume you have tried rebooting the computer?

>>What about the clean reinstall, as suggested in my earlier reply >>here<<?

If neither of those fixes the problem, the staff might need some more info.

If you could please post back the scan logs, as suggested in my earlier reply >>here<<, that would probably help the staff to figure out what's going on.

Thanks for your patience, :)

Windows 8.1 Upated

MBAM Premium 2.0.1.1004

I was curious about this language thing.

So I changed the language setting from English to German. I then exited MBAM and reloaded it.   MBAM reloaded in German with the various menus in German.    I then changed the language setting back to English and exited MBAM.  When I reloaded it the menus did again show up in English.

It behaved like I thought it would with respect to the language changes.  However, MBAM appeared sluggish when it was in German but then again that is not the OPs problem posted here.
