  1. I know about winlogon.exe, but it just appered today. This topic can be closed. I see no point of this fix since my dad will just install programs and leave toolbars and ignore AV warnings. Anyway my sister's old PC is trojan infested and the graphic card is dead but I will try to remove those Trojans on my own if my dad gives me the PC
  2. Ugh new processes appeared ''rundll32,instup.exe,updater.exe.update.exe and winlogon.exe'' and the laptop is slower. I think I will reformat but I don't have the CD.
  3. Windows update only ruined the preformanse. Running system restore now.
  4. I ran that tool and the fragmation from 58% it dropped to 53%. Not so good. Anyway activated automatic updates and installing the updates right now.
  5. Update, del fix removed KMP Media Toolbar. How is this possible? I thaut it only removes disinfection tools! Oh well. Still good! I will do more updates and I if I do everything, this topic can be closed.
  6. And I'll just remove KMPToolbar with Revo Uninstaller. Or just leave it, sense, well, it's dead.
  7. So, are those bogus files in 'Hosts' deleted now? And to the best of my knowledge, the laptop has an HDD. Is there any way to check this?

  11. The issue is that when scrolling with any browser it's lagging. Anyway I will post it ASAP
  12. Oops instead of bitdefender I meant Microsoft Security Essentials. Apologies for the mistake got up early so my head is messed up.
  13. Just a note that I will uninstall Avast! and install bit defender Free. Don't get me wrong, Avast! Is great, it's better than AVG Internet Security(It was legit, not cracked or pirated) which let the viruses in the system. I just want to try bitdefender sense I heard ALOT of good things about it and from what I saw it is very good at removing trojans and blocking sites. However I will not uninstall Avast! until I hear what you will say. Also are those bogus host files clean now?
  14. And no threats were found on the ESET Online Scanner Test
