  1. @jboursier I can confirm this is working on the current Anti-Malware Toolkit 2.0.4 and the upcoming patch version 2.0.5.
  2. @jboursier We looked into the issue and believe it may be related to the content disposition header. When adding the below code into the section where the content disposition is handled on our end, AdwCleaner downloaded. contentDisposition = "attachment; " + contentDisposition; In the second screenshot I posted you can see this error is indeed on the Malwarebytes/Server side. It is missing the attachment; prefix. Helped AMT as this area can be improved to handle this in the future rather than stalling. For reference: Hope this helps!
  3. Sure, when I have some free time later I can look into that. What's throwing me off is the following: { "download": "https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-latest-ssl&os=win64", }, { "download": "https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-stub&os=win64", }, { "download": "https://download.mozilla.org/?product=thunderbird-latest-ssl&os=win64", } This is how I download Firefox and Thunderbird in AMT. They work with no issues, which confuses me as to why AdwCleaner is suddenly having issues. We're debugging things to see what's going on and trying to find the root cause. I assumed it was a related to changes on the AdwCleaner server end since Firefox has a similar format and still works properly. I'll keep you posted.
  4. @jboursier Any ideas what's going on behind the scenes?
  5. Has anything changed for downloading? Any sort of anti-bot filters or checks? I ask because I have tried several of the official links for use in my Anti-Malware Toolkit and AdwCleaner never downloads, it just stalls and waits. So far it's only AdwCleaner that has the issue. If necessary, privately message me in case this is a change that I will need to implement.
  6. cleanmgr /verylowdisk I agree with just using Storage Sense and the built in Disk Cleanup. CCleaner is garbage. It hit it's prime back in the XP days, and has been redundant since.
  7. @Root_Kit_404 For what it's worth, if you're using Firefox HTTPS is now a built in option under Privacy and Security. I ditched HTTPS Everywhere once that was built into Firefox.
  8. Actually there is. I didn't see any documentation to turn on any of the Basic Repair Actions with individual or a group set. Something like this: /iefo:1 Or... /basicRepair:1 Is there an undocumented method to turning all of those on?
  9. @jboursier Looking forward to it! I'm hoping with the CLI introduction, I may be able to write a tiny batch to enable all the optional reset settings. Let it run and remove all malware and bloatware, then reboot if necessary. Sort of a silent thing.
  10. If you need to run DISM and SFC at every boot, there's a far bigger problem at hand. It's like trying to put a giant band-aid over a papercut. You mentioned an old hard drive. Let's say that is what it's running on (I did skim this thread I admit). If that old hard drive isn't doing well, why do you want to increase the activity on it and only allow the condition to deteriorate faster? DISM is only necessary if SFC finds errors. Even then, SFC is only for when you're noticing problems on the computer. Adding on, Windows Update shouldn't really be an issue. It almost sounds as though the online connection may be the issue. Either way, the Windows Update Troubleshooter works wonders. I'll also add on that my Anti-Malware Toolkit has a Tasks menu. In it, you can run SFC, DISM, DISM & SFC back to back, even a Windows Update fix.
  11. I swear this used to be present in the past. I'd like to see the Restart Later option. Sometimes there's something else going on that I'd like to see finish prior to restarting, yet still being able to close Adw would be nice.
  12. @Atribune I no longer have access to this computer. However, I have asked for a scan to be run and if the detections show, with no response as of yet. It was a friend who had me fix a few things on it for his father.
  13. When running a scan I saw the uninstaller for my software was flagged.
