Hello, SInce Win XP is no more supported by MS, I wanted to install a good antimalware program on my old Win XP machine. After installation of the 1.75, it crashed immediately when downloading the database. I upgraded to the 2.0 but it crashes after 3 minutes after the database download. I'm using MBAM free version on my WIN 8.1 machine and it works very fine. I upgraded from 1.75 to 2.0 and it's ok on Win 8.1. You can find 2 screenshots in attachment. I tried to export the MBAM logs, but this feature crashes too. I uploaded the logs of FARBAR, mbam-check and DDS. I also uploaded the screenshots of MBAM 2.0 running from the start to the crash. Hi Ron, Indeed the Windows Firewall was deactivated and I did not configure uProxyServer = localhost:21320. In the task manager I see now processes that I can't delete, they are recreated automatically. So it it obvious this machine is infected. How can I delete this proxy server ? I tried to run MBAM in safe mode but it crashed. Farbar is running now in safe mode, I'm waiting for the logs. Thanks, Pat.

Hi, Thank you for your post. Well I got no specific message from Farbar, just the usual "There was a problem with application, send report to Microsoft". I'm currently running Spybot 2.2, looking from rootkits. I'll run the tools you suggest and post the logs once it is done. Regards, Pat.
