My malwarebytes scan can't get past a certain file.

Recommended Posts

Hello. I was running a custom scan with the rootkit detection checkbox checked and it seems that my scan gets stuck at the file "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\8afdd89a80c9aa938accb95d92927299\wow64 microsoft-windows-security-kerberos 31bf3856ad364e35 6.1.7600.20861 none 4dbbbc381f04fc2.manifest"  When I run a custom  scan without rootkit detection toggled there is no issue. I was wondering if you all could shed some light on this issue.

OK, I believe that Malwarebytes is not compatible with most encryption software, especially the rootkit scanning part...
