Never done a post like this but need help bad. My son has a laptop with Windows 8. He came to me yesterday to say that his internet is not working. I tested everything and the connection to the internet is fine. the issue is the only web browser installed is Internet explorer. Every time I try to connect through internet explorer I get a " this page cannot be displayed" for any destination address I try to put in. When I try to refresh the web address i typed in changes to something that includes the words genieo although it still gives me a " this page cannot be displayed" result. I have tried to go into the IE options and make sure the only home page is google for example. I have also looked in recent installed programs and dont see Genieo listed anywhere. Not sure what to do from here???
