Please do not stop doing updates to version 2. I tried version 3 and everything slowed down. Went back to version 2.

Count me in too. They know this is a problem so come out with a fix or update.

Just where is this block to put in or take out a check mark to not check for updates upon reboot. I can't find it. I'm also getting the icon by start side on my windows 8.1 desktop. My windows 7 desktop is fine.

This seems to be a problem on computers running windows 8. I also use this program on a windows 7 computer and have had no problems. Seems the MCLEAN and reinstall is used a lot for all problems. I have used it 2 or 3 times to fix the double running icons by clock and still have the problem. The programmers need to look at the window 8 installes to find the problems. Thanks

I have been trying to fix this problem for quite a few days now. I will get 2 malwarebytes icons by my clock and they have different versions or update info. This is on a windows 8.1 computer. I have ran the clean up program 2 or 3 times right after each other and re-booted after each time to see if I have a double program. Still get this after I re install the program. Would like some help on what to look for or do. Thanks.

I have more questions now. If you start in safe mode and then set it to not start with windows, do you then add the exceptions, or when you re-boot. If you wait till re-boot then when you start the program it will be running in windows when you add the exceptions.

On this forum is a topic on the settings for useing these two together to stop freezing. Just a question, why is it you have to uninstall Malwarebytes and then install it again to insert the exceptions in Malwarebytes. Why can't you just insert exceptions with out uninstalling and installing again.

Was this error created by an update to the program. I have two window 7 computers and the only one that has this problem is the one running a 64 bit version. I also have a Vista and no problem there. Seems it does not like a 64bit model. Any thoughts on this.

I get this error code when I bring up the program (or try to). Program_Error_Load_ Database (o,13, Creatsdk) What is it and how do I fix it.

I think I did it. There is NO .exe after each, which got me. Porthos may need to change that. Thanks

Porthos There is NO mbam.exe or mbamgui.exe or mbamservice.exe in Microsoft Security Essentials for 64 bit. Now what do I do. Thanks

Will Malwarebytes get along with Microsoft Security Essentials now useing Real Time Protection turned on. The first time I tried it, it would set off all kinds of alarms. Thanks
