  1. Well I hope someone at Malwarebytes who makes decisions sees that they are losing a multi-thousand dollar re-seller account because of this.
  2. Aura, did you read my suggestion from December? I am a MBAM reseller and a HitManPro.Alert reseller, I like to sell both to my customers. I prefer to use HitManPro.Alert for anti-ransom and anti-exploit Problem: If I disable anti-ransom and anti-exploit, MBAM 3 complains that I need to turn on all protection layers. Solution: Other programs like Avast and Kaspersky let you un-select certain protection features during install, this is what I request of MBAM 3,
  3. I agree. I am a re-seller with hundreds of active MBAM users. I asked for this feature back in December. Now I am making a decision to stop selling MBAM, unless they add this feature. Do they care?
  4. I asked MBAM to give me an option to install without those modules, but they don't care to say if they will or not. and now they released 3.0 anyway, so there's my answer. Now 3.0 is being rolled out in mass. When you turn off a MBAM module the UI and the tray icon show a warning which cannot be canceled. Every time you boot the computer MBAM shows a pop-up saying that the system is not fully protected and that annoys and worries some people. This has been brought to the attention of MalwareBytes and they did not address it, It needs to be possible to turn off modules when necessary without the program going into a permanent warning/error state. Now I cannot sell Malwarebytes anymore.
  5. I don't sell HitMan Pro, I sell HitManPro.Alert for the anti-ransom and anti-exploit, I sell both Malwarebytes and HitManPro.Alert, and install on hundreds of customer computers, The problem, if I disable MBAM anti-ransom and anti-exploit, MBAM 3 complains that I need to turn on all protection layers. I don't want to stop selling either one really, but it appears MBAM 3 has no provision for this, so I might have to stop selling MBAM..
  6. I request that you make an option to install MBAM 3 without the anti-ransom and anti-exploit feature. Other programs like Avast and Kaspersky let you unselect certain protection features during install, this is what I request of MBAM 3, otherwise I might have to stop selling it.
  7. How to Set Exclusions for MBAM in Windows Defender Win 10 Nov 2015 update? I ask because the Win 10 Nov 2015 update changed the way you add file process exclusions. You can no longer browse and select files, now you have to type a file name. Go to Settings and select Update & security > Windows Defender. Under Processes: Exclusions, select Add an exclusion. Select the Add button, navigate to the file, folder, or process, and then select Exclude this file. You can no longer navigate and select files, you now have to manually type a new exclusion name in a form field. You used to be able to navigate and select C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbam.exe I cannot find any Microsoft documentation on this. Now that you have to type a new exclusion name in a form field, what do we enter here? all these one at a time? Does the file path not matter anymore? mbam.exe mbamdor.exe mbampt.exe mbamresearch.exe mbamscheduler.exe mbamservice.exe To see the new Windows defender settings, look at the section on this site: 7. To Exclude a Process http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5924-windows-defender-exclusions-add-remove-windows-10-a.html You have to have the Win 10 Nov 2015 update installed for these changes. To see your current Windows 10 version number, press on the Win Key + R keys and enter winver then press on Enter. It'll be displayed in the window that will pop up. My winver shows Version 1511 (OS Build 10586.14) Thanks for any help
  8. The lack of commnuication is harder to take than the price increase. Although 60% price jump for 3PC is huge. I am going to have some unhappy renewal customers. I am already losing most renewals to the "My Account" renewal button. Thanks for posting the email. I just looked again, and I did not receive that email. I also just noticed that the buy button at the main web site has different pricing models than the one reference here
  9. No, I was not notified. They have my correct email address. There was no announcement visisble in the reseller purchase screen.
  10. What happened to the 3PC comsumer MBAM licence? 1PC 1Y MBAM is now $24.95 Even when trying to renew a 3PC License from the renew button in "My Account" you now get a form that says renew 1PC 1 Year for $24.95 As a reseller, I am very annoyed about these unannounced changes. Resellers should be first to be notified with full details and plenty of advance notice. This is a major change in the sales model.
