  2. 3 days ago i noticed that little shield at the bottom of the windows menu tray had turned red with a x and that my avg 2011 had an ! mark in it and about 4 of the components were shut off. so i updated over and over again but it wouldnt work. so i tried to system restore the computer to 4 earlier days and it wouldnt let me at all. so then my friend said try a firewall called zoomalarm. i had it on for a day but had to take it off. well when i rebooted i noticed my avg had fixed itself somehow. but then i noticed windows on my computer had looked different. the start menu tray at the bottom was thinner. the start button had changed color. when i go to my documents, the side menu at the left had changed as well. instead of one long bar with the links and info in it, it was separated into 3 smaller boxes. and i had lost all sound on my computer. when i went to realtek to test the speakers they were fine. but every program i tried to use, windows movie maker, even went to the audio and sound folder in control panel and it said there was no sound no where on my computer. also i share this computer and when i go in regular mode, only my name and my friends name come up and it is only when i am in safemode that both names come up along with the administrator login. but when i go to reg mode all me user names come up which it has never done that before. so then my computer finally let me do system restore. and my sound was back and windows looked normal. and it was fine for a whole day, until i logged off for a few hours and back on. and when i logged back on, the same problem happened. the strange login, windows changed and all the sound is gone off my computer. also it has taken over my avg. when i go there the whole thing is blank. it wont scan or nothing cuz not links come up or buttons not even words.today my computer let me system restore to yesterday and i was able to get avg working. but i noticed it wont let me go in safe mode no more. u know when you reboot the computer and it gives u that count down of 30 seconds or so. well now mine goes right to zero and just boots up. wont even let me hit f8. well the system restore worked and i was able to get avg to work. so i ran a scan with that, sypbot and ca yahoo anti virus. my avg told me i have 14 infected files, all tracking cookies and i had 4 trojans. i forgot the locations of where they were on the computer. my spybot says i had a microsoft windows security center antivirus override, and my ca yahoo antivirus says i have 1 bifrost, 1 winantivirus pro 2006, 1 winspyware protect, and 2 prockill.the locations of the viruses my ca yahoo antivirus gave me r the following: (bifrost) hkey_current_user/software/wget (winantivirus pro 2006) hkey_classes_root/*/shellex/contextmenuhandlers/shellextension (winspyware protect) /software/microsoft/windows/currentversion..... (prockill) c/hp/drivers/audio/audigyIIzs/common/killapp.exe and also c/systemvolume/info/_restore{106cf321-99a3-4e3a-9103-1bd027606a99}/rp284/a0112805.exe i havent ran a panda or scan yet. but here is my hijackthis log can someone plz help me Running processes: C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\Ati2evxx.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe C:\WINDOWS\arservice.exe C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehRecvr.exe C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehSched.exe C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\jqs.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\HPZipm12.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\SoftwareUpdate\YahooAUService.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllhost.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\Ati2evxx.exe C:\WINDOWS\ARPWRMSG.EXE C:\WINDOWS\RTHDCPL.EXE C:\Program Files\HP\HP Software Update\HPWuSchd2.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Java\Java Update\jusched.exe C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe C:\Program Files\SpywareGuard\sgmain.exe C:\Program Files\SpywareGuard\sgbhp.exe C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\TeaTimer.exe C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG10\avgwdsvc.exe C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG10\avgrsx.exe C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG10\avgcsrvx.exe C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG10\avgchsvx.exe C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG10\avgnsx.exe C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG10\Identity Protection\Agent\Bin\AVGIDSAgent.exe C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG10\avgtray.exe C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG10\Identity Protection\agent\bin\avgidsmonitor.exe C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\SpybotSD.exe C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugin-container.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\notepad.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\wuauclt.exe C:\Program Files\HijackThis.exe R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.yahoo.com/ R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=69157 R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896 R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896 R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=69157 R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://us.rd.yahoo.com/customize/ie/defaults/su/msgr8/*http://www.yahoo.com O2 - BHO: &Yahoo! 4. hi everyone. i have a huge problem a few days ago my computer got hit by a virus. when i did a search in yahoo or google i got redirected to a fake site when the results came up. when i go to add and remove programs there is something called searchsettings1.2 and it wont let me delete it. but after a few days i was finally able to get rid of it. and my net went back to normal for about a min then was infected again by the same bug. i had norton but got rid of it and i have spy boty and malware at the time. after looking this thing up on the web and downloading more antivirus stuff i think i have a vundo trojan or a cws (coolwwwsearches) which is redirecting me. in safe mood i've tried malware, ad-aware, spybot, avg, vundofix, cclearner, ccshredder, avast and i still have this prob. on my hijackthis the same file keeps coming up and everytime i delete it it comes back. i think that is the prob but it wont let me delete it and i cant find it in my folders. the file that keeps coming up is O18 - Filter hijack: text/html - {07851C6A-1C43-41d9-8319-BC89154A8C00} - (no file). oh also in my spybot my bho is unmarked, should it be marked? also i seem to have about 4 winlogon files on my computer. one of them is in the system32 folder which i know is the real one and the other 3 r in different folders. should i just delete the other 3 files? here r the rest of my hijackthis files. if anyone can help me i would be sooooooooooo greatful.
