I believe this malware entered my computer on a CNET download. Snapdo adds a toolbar to your browser, hijacks your default search engine and is very difficult to remove. I first tried removal via the control panel, then ran search and found it in a folder local disk (usually C)/documents &settings/my name/ local service/application data/smartbar One file resisted many attempts at deletion and I tried so many things I can't remember what finally worked. I still have problems with the search engine defaults. Why doesn't Malwarebytes clean this thing out?
