  1. Well... Not a single issue on 1.75.0.1300. Is anyone gonna reply? I hope this will get fixed.
  2. Actually if I download ImgBurn portable, there's no crap on it, since there's no installer with that crap on it. DAEMON Tools, I won't have any crap either. SM Player too. And other softwares I got like that. It's not like I know every single software in the world, I didn't talk about everything too. But sorry for giving him advice how to dodge this stupid adware on installers. ;-)
  3. Update notifications doesn't work in MBAM 2 (at least for me). Did you check the databaze version? Try to make clean install with the file on this link: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=122284
  4. Do you get notification about it? Because when MBAM 2 update itself, suddenly i can't browse anything until I restart my browser. Maybe we have a same problem.
  5. Sorry if there's edit button, but I can't see it. Anyway, I did more testing. I was watching MBAM database version every few minutes, and I catched MBAM updating, after 1 minute of that update, browser is dead again... I have 3 tabs opened now, TAB 1 dead, website won't load at all, new tabs websites won't load at all too... Until I restart iexplore.exe, it will work again. (only TAB 2 and TAB 3 works for some reason right now). Now I 95% believe that MBAM 2 do that, after updates. 1-10 minutes delay. + It all started that day I updated, I also used clean install using mbam-clean.exe What's going on?! I'm going to revert back to 1.75 and test it day or two, if that problem won't occur using version 1.75, it's definitely MBAM 2 doing that. :/
  6. Hi, I was always wondering. When it's better to run Flash scan? I never found much use for it, since quick scan scans more stuff. Maybe it is good to use for scheduled scan? Instead of Threat scan. Since Threat scan takes some few minutes.
  7. That's why I don't install software with this adware / spyware / malware (or whatever you want to call it) in... I think DAEMON Tools contains this candy pup. Found this crap before and I started checking what I really downloaded, if it has any adware. (For me it's all malware). So if any software has something like this in, I'm not installing it. Even if you don't choose to install any toolbar or adware that comes with it, it makes changes to your registry ( sometime it makes files in your PC) mainly temp, I checked these files, and log of this adware / spyware / malware. And it was sending some data from my PC to them. That PUP. If you just click on this exe, that adware on it create some registry entries and send some info from your PC to them... (At least the one I checked before). Like Ron said, PUP.. pretty much malware. Wanna advice? Try to download portable software, like ImgBurn portable (so you can be sure there's no crap in it, it has adware on it too). As for DAEMON Tools Lite, I was about to reinstall my system, so what I did, I installed DAEMON once on it, then moved the files from program files to my USB flash drive (so I don't have to download and install DAEMON with that malware in it every time.)
  8. No edit? Also I wanted to add that it looks like the problem occurs when MBAM update itself. I always check database version of MBAM when the problem occurs, and it's always newer version. It occurs right after the update, or 8 minutes later, or 10 minutes later (I checked the log). But it could be coincidence, since MBAM is set to update itself every hour.
  9. I got similiar problem. After couple of minutes (it's random) even hour, two... Web sites in IE9 won't load at all... (Sometimes they will load, but after minutes). But restarting the browser helps, websites will load again. It started exactly the same day of upgrading to MBAM v2. Can't 100% say it's really MBAM causing it though. I ran a lot of scanners, nothing found, and I'm very carefull, I doubt I have some malware.
  10. Hello, I started having issues on Windows Vista 32bit with Internet Explorer 9. It started exactly the same day when I upgraded to MBAM 2, and MBAE 10.0.1000. Few times in a day while browsing, the browser just stop loading any website / or becomes extremely slow... and load after very many seconds or minutes (or never...) The browser itself is working, internet too and all services using internet, but browser just won't load any website, the circle just keeps moving, but nothing... It works again if I restart the browser, pages load normally again. (Sometimes I don't have to restart the browser and it will automatically work later again). (Oh hell, it's happening again right now...) I unistalled MBAE yesterday to test it. So it's not MBAE causing it... I'll revert to previous version of MBAM and I will see. I have MBAM PREMIUM, and I used clean uninstall with that mbam-clean.exe you provide. Looks like the browser is going crazy exactly when MBAM updates itself to new database version, or around 10 minutes after update. But that's just guess. Also another bug, the MBAM tray icon sometimes isn't in tray bar, + MBAM updater doesn't notifiy that it updated itself (even when it's checked) + MBAE doesn't work on my Windows 7 64bit laptop. I uninstalled last version, deleted MBAE program files, restarted computer and installed new version, it said I have to restart computer again so the upgrade procces can be completed (???) I didn't get this on Windows Vista. MBAE won't boot up after PC restart, (mbae.exe isn't in processes) and when I try to run it, it appears in services, but after few minutes / seconds (it's random). It says the Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit procces / or protection isn't running and will be terminated, so the mbae.exe is gone from services. (Maybe MBAE works, but I have to start the protection of it?) But I can't ever see its icon in tray bar. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway, I saw somewhere on this forum, some guy talked about how MBAM 2 slowed down his internet browser. I'm going to revert to older version of MBAM and see if MBAM 2 is the cause. Thank you, and sorry if I made a lot of mistakes in my english. Btw that Windows 7 laptop isn't mine, so I can't test it much. I just maintain it.
