  1. Treed, as always, thank you and the staff for a quick response and fix. It didn't work for me until after a restart of the Mac. All's well that ends well. I now get the You're Using The Current Version screen.
  2. Exile360...very clear instructions. Thank you. I went thru the Google Sync instruction. When I ran a scan before turning Sync back on, no infections were detected. Good thing or should I have had something. I also went thru the Notifications in Settings, but nothing jumped out at me. It was enlightening, though, to find out all of this info was there. Will see what happens now. Thank you. PS Porthos suggested Browser Guard. I'll look into that next
  3. There is one posting on this topic, but I don't understand the fix if any. I have started to get what I know are fake Adobe Flash Update warnings in a popup. The only way to close out the warning is to click on the tab's x in Chrome. I certainly didn't'/don't click on Update. I don't use Safari and haven't used Firefox enough recently to notice it there. I don't have Flash installed...hence, I know the warning is fake.Numerous MBAM Premium for Mac scans haven't identified any infections or PUPs. Shouldn't it? I am running 4.5.14 and Catalina 10.15.6. No other antivirus. Is an update planned for MBAM to fix this before damage is inadvertently done? Thank you.
  4. Thank you, Treed for the quick response and answering my questions. Malwarebytes is great. I will not be an early adopter of Big Sur, will wait for any problems to surface, but good tip to check for your updates first. Will do.
  5. Thank you, Treed. I had to do a Check for Updates and then install 4.5.14. Everything went smoothly. Spiffy new Dock icon. I guess you're rolling out this update over time, but I didn't want to wait. I never rush to install a new iMac update, however, and will add "check MBAM's" preparedness for Big Sur before I do that. You wrote " Once Big Sur is more mature and Malwarebytes for Mac has been fully tested on it without issues, we'll release a version that will officially work on Big Sur." Will existing installs of MBAM 4.5, migrate to Big Sur once it is out of Beta without your new version or we'll need your new Big Sur version for MBAM to continue working? It wasn't clear to me if you were referring to new MBAM installs or migration of existing installs as well. Regards.
  6. Adas and Treed, I was just about to ask this same question having taken a leap of faith and updated to 10.15.4 and got the same Legacy System Extension warning. As usual, you were on top of the issue and explained it very well. I'm on MBAM 4.3.5 so all is well with my 2 month old first Mac. Thank you for working to keep my baby safe.
  7. Thomas....excellent and detailed answer. I have only had this Mac for three days and was confused about what Menu bar others referred to. I'm not yet used to the application menu bar and what is on it. You've helped me out there also. You've given me the details and screen shots to fully explain your answer. Thank you and Malwarebytes very much.
  8. Portous....I have spent a lot of time trying to find what I'm missing. This is all I get from opening the gear. The info I'm looking for is not in either of these three tabs. Is this the right v4 for Mac that I have?
  9. Massimiliano....I don't see any of these instructions on my Malwarebytes v4 for Mac app screen. There is no Menu>About Malwarebytes on the app screen and no definition version in Reports. When I either right or left click on the M, nothing happens. Are we looking at the same app screen?
  10. Treed...one more question, please. I've noticed that v4 Mac does not show the release or version number in the My Account tab or elsewhere that I can find. It does say Premium. This info was in the PC version, but I know that Mac Premium is different. Auto check for protection updates 1 hour is checked, but there is no option to manually update. How do we know the current version we are operating and/or if updates have been made? Thank you.
  11. I have installed v4 on a new iMac and transferred my license. The MBAM install went OK and I've set the Settings per your install Guide. The scans are only taking 10-12 seconds? Is this the way it should be? I know MBAM is different on a Mac, but this seems very fast. During the scan you don't get the various stages like you do on a PC, eg, checking for updates, etc. Just "scan in progress". Is this right or is something missing on the install? Thank you.
  12. alvarnell....thank you. I assumed there were differences between the two products, and this explanation explains it.
  13. Why does the Mac have different Real Time Protection? Four real time protection elements on Windows vs two on the Mac. Detection History and Scanner look to be the same. Is there something you're not getting in Mawarebytes for Mac?
  14. When will this be offered as an Auto Update to Premium users?
