MBAM causing Excel to not respond when automatic link updates enabled

Recommended Posts

I have an Excel spreadsheet which contains cells which automatically update themselves from a local DDE server. The program has always worked properly until I updated MBAM to version 2 yesterday. Since then, as soon as I enable the automatic update of links in the spreadsheet, Excel shows as not responding.

Viewing the problem details shows this:

From the above, it is apparent that MBAM looks to be the cause. Is there a way to stop it from scanning Excel in real time? Or is there another solution to the issue?
As soon as I exit MBAM, Excel starts working properly.

All help appreciated, thanks.
