  1. ive heard that running it in safe mode is better because it desables 90% of the malwares and the defense mechanisme they have. but anyways thank you for your reply
  2. I dont know if im posting this in the right section but what ever... my apologizes i wanted to know does it work in safemode? even if you installed it but not in safe mode? And how do you update it if you dont have internet?? ive heard you had to exchange a file? witch one is it exactly?
  3. Yesterday I was searching in Google, and any time I click a link it redirects me to another page. I have run ad aware, Rising Antivirus, Malwarebytes, Spybot Search and Destroy, Hitman 3.5, and the free version of Registry Mechanic. I ran Spyboat, Hitman, and Malwarebytes in regular mode, and safe mode. The problem is still persisting. Any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated. Through the search function I've seen other people have had similar problems, but all the responses were specific to their own computer, hence my post. Malwarebytes pro or free? Tea time on or off? It may because if there all running together that it cant detect anything. Unless you have a REALLY NASTY ROOT KIT or just computer problem. What site does it redirect you? is it the same? does it redirect to a rogue antivirus? ex: Antivirus PRO 2010 or something.
  4. i followed this i have windows xp and i am the admin of my computer. Windows XP: * Click on Start and select Control Panel * Open Add/Remove Programs * Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware * Restart your computer very important * Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here * It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very important * After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here o Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version o Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates. Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask and we'll explain how to do it.
  5. Hello~ i Voted for MSE~ MSE is a wonderful product (if your OS is activated) some people have Windows XP or Windows 7 or vista illegally and does have a serial key for the product activation therefore MSE will not work. (no signature update i presume) I would not recommend Avira 10 because i saw reviews recently and i noticed a major breakdown comparison between it and avira9.... if you dont like MSE my second option would be avast~ avast 5 is friendly easy to use and uses up only around 6mb on ram. and it is a strong Antivirus~
  6. i just installed the malwarebytes v1.46 and received this for 5-6 times for some reason i tried to reinstall it by following the steps given in the malwarebytes forum. Yes i did follow the steps correctly. and got the same message. The product seems to be working well but im still hesitating... Thus, i install a v1.44 and still got the same message... So i just uninstalled it and reinstalled the v1.46 (I did follow the steps to uninstall it, i did around 5 restarts that day and it was unpleasant ) So today just to be sure that there is no issue later on with this product i came here. please thank you for replies on this.
  7. Is this a big issue? or its suppose to be like that? Cuz i believe that if there is a error but no problem there will be one in the future and it would be a big one...
  8. eh... je pense que c le programme.. et pas ton ordi... je pense quils vont le reparer dans la version 1.46 ou dans les "updates" des prochaines "signature"
  9. i DID NOT have them installed at the same time i installed one .... disliked it i uninstalled it ( i did perform a scan before i uninstall ) i installed another ... disliked did the same thing... and now im with only a sand box ( from the description of the sandbox i have it says that its even better then a sandbox )
  10. nvm what i said... i just installed the new v1.45 and it like took me forever to scan... malwarebytes scan slowed down.... by alot...
  14. fisrt it was because i had issues update and some uncertainty. then she/he explained how malwarebytes was really reliable After when i discovered the issue she/he said she/he didnt know what is was , thus, she told me to post it on this link for further help. im sure that i do not have any malware on my computer because i have already scanned my computer with avast/avira and malwarebytes Avast was causing slow downs so unistalled it ( i did scan before uninstall) avira was also causing slow down on my connection so unistalled it ( i did scan before uninstalled) malwarebytes couldnt update. but after reinstalling now i can update but this occured so i just posted this because i was scrared later on there would be problems with the product so i asked for assistance. "forgot to mension that after i clicked ok. malwarebytes was installed with no problems and its working right now with no problems"
  15. if you zoom in the picture... you would see that... its norton interenet security... or the antivirus one.
