  1. Thanks, daledaoc! <<Since you have already tried rebooting, I would suggest that you please follow the directions exactly as shown here: MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x >> A complication... If I remove MBAM Premium, I'll have no way to get it back. MBAM Premium, along with the activation Key, was installed by long distance tech support. My computer wasn't playing nice with the Anti-virus feature of System Mechanic a couple of years ago, and so MBAM Premium was activated by the tech as a patch. From the look of the MBAM info page, my current version was recently upgraded on 4-12-14 to v. 2.0.1.1004. Another reason to be protected by Premium: am running Win XP Pro and due to clean install Win 7 within next week or so. If that hurdle can be cleared, then the rest of the instructions can be followed. Am a little bit snowed with to-dos for the holiday weekend. Is my machine safe in this condition, until next week? Many thanks for your time. Regards, bookzfan
  2. Hi... I've got the same problem as written above, line for line. Have rebooted the computer several times over the past couple days. The program still will not let me enable malicious web site protection. I don't want my computer to be less protected than it should be. Many thanks for your help.
