Unwanted, "automatic" reboot occurred

Laptop with Windows 7-64 left running last night. Fell asleep watching a Netflix movie. Woke up this morning to a changed desktop photo and very few icons, along with a message box stating that computer had been rebooted!

Based on desktop icons, it had rebooted to somewhere wa-a-a-y back. Went in and restored it to last week. Now it seems to be okay.

Anybody else ever have this? Is this some new virus?

I have the pro version of malwarebytes installed. I checked the quarantine box. Nothing new there. I checked the log to see if the scheduled daily scan took place at 4:00am. It did, no problems reported.
