I think Malwarebytes have blocked google input tools on chrome?

Hi there,

I recently installed Malwarebyte under a friend's recommendation.

I have also started using Google Input Tools on Chrome. 

On my first try, I noticed that I got a pop up stating that something was blocked successfully on Chrome at the same time I turned on the extension on chrome. 

 

The input tool could not be used. I tried installing the extension and the same thing happened. 

 

How do I go about unblocking the item that was unblocked?

Please open MBAM and go to the Logs tab and find the Protection Log and post back that log.

 

Let me also have you run the following scanner and post back it's logs as well so we can see what's going on.

 

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system.
You can check here if you're not sure if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit

• Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
• Press Scan button.
• It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please copy and paste it to your reply.
• The first time the tool is run, it also makes another log (Addition.txt). Please copy and paste it to your reply as well.

Hi there,

I believe this is the exact time I tried to use Chrome's google input tool

There several from chrome.exe, but the IP block is different.

It is not blocking your Google tools.  It is blocking your bit torrent software.  Fully disable bit torrent and Skype from running and the blocks should stop.
