MBAM Rules.ref?

Hello,

I've been using Malwarebytes' for a long time now, and we use it quite frequently among client computers, we have recently updated 1.60, and we noticed that the rules.ref cant be moved to another machine or it gives the following errors:

"The Malwarebytes' database is missing or corrupt, would you like to download a new copy?"

And

"Product files are missing or corrupt. Please reinstall the product. PROGRAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE (0,13,SDKCreate).

The copying of the rules.ref was working wonderful on previous versions, and we like to do it, this way because we don't put infected machines on the internet, until we know they are clean..

Thank you.

Greetings :)

Are you a reseller or using Corporate licensing? If so, then please contact corporate@malwarebytes.org or corporate-support@malwarebytes.org and they will assist you with this directly.

Please be sure to include your Reference number or reseller info when you do in order to expedite their reply.

Thanks

In order to install our software on your clients' systems for use in a repair shop, you would need to pursue proper licensing. The consumer license is for consumer use only, not for use in any business environment (including repair shops for cleanup purposes).

Please fill out the information on this page to submit a sales inquiry if you wish to seek proper licensing for your repair shop and they will advise you on pricing and allowed use.

Thank you.

Please note the new instructions from Item 4

Note: Starting with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.60, you must also copy the file database.conf located within the Configuration folder which is in the same folder as rules.ref listed above.
