Hi All,

My apologies if this sounds like a stupid question!
Malwarebytes have quarantined a couple of files .... they look like Windows registry files - HKey something ....

Am I correct to assume that since my computer is still running with the files in "quarantine" I could safely delete them?
i.e. that I won't find that I can't start Windows the next time round!

Thanks.
David

Hello and welcome to the Malwarebytes support forum. Thank you for choosing Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware as your malware security solution, my name is Oscar Rubio and I'll be assisting you today.

Items in quarantine can't be called/ran so if Windows is running fine while a file is in quarantine it can theoretically be safe to delete the file permanently.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
