If you try to conduct a search at Scroogle, the portal that lets you search Google in private, Scroogle will tell you that Google is blocking them. It still existsb but Google was blocking some areas -

I've been having the same issues sadly. No Scroogle for me for the past several days :(.

I switched over to Ixquick and I'm also using their Startpage.com service, which is pretty much identical to how Scroogle worked (and it can easily be added as a search provider in IE, which is good for me :)).

Yep, that's why I switched over to Startpage. It works the same as Scroogle and will hopefully remain online permanently.

That makes me really sad :(
RIP Scroogle.

Thank you Exile360 for the Startpage.com recommendation -- it is now my Firefox Homepage & has been added to my favorites :)
