Malwarebytes Not Responding During Scan

I have had problems with Malwarebytes not responding durning a scan. It seems to catch-up after 30 seconds or so. I have it set for exclusion with my firewall and antivirus programs and vice-versa. Does anyone have a reason why it does this?

Hello freeman1762.

Did you close your browsers and any other apps before starting MBAM? if not, do so.
Also, try temporarily disabling your antivirus, before starting the MBAM scan.
