I have an Excel spreadsheet which contains cells which automatically update themselves from a local DDE server. The program has always worked properly until I updated MBAM to version 2 yesterday. Since then, as soon as I enable the automatic update of links in the spreadsheet, Excel shows as not responding.

Viewing the problem details shows this:

From the above, it is apparent that MBAM looks to be the cause. Is there a way to stop it from scanning Excel in real time? Or is there another solution to the issue?
As soon as I exit MBAM, Excel starts working properly.

All help appreciated, thanks.

Hi:

Welcome. :)

Sorry you are having problems with Excel on a computer running MBAM 2.x.

Is this a business or work computer, by any chance?

Hi daledoc1 :)

Yes, it's my personal computer, but I use it for work. I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit if that info is of any use.
