I follow alot of the security pages and seen that a week or more ago & think its dumb/not right for them to try and infect/slow peoples computers down with add ons..

If you seen this a week or more ago (not sure how you did that as it was only posted on May 2), wouldn't you think it would have been nice to share that info here? Most folks that follow security web sites do it to gain info and to spread the word.... just saying....

Crystall balls and ESP not withstanding, it's very helpful that 1PW posted here, too, with that HNS link based on the MBAM blog (thanks for the link, shadowwar!).

 

With any luck, the more widely the word gets out about the scammers, the fewer vulnerable users will fall victim.

I follow hacking organizations,bitdefender,other hacking/security news people/pages to get that info before malwarebytes posts it so and didn't have a account til i made one since my old one was accidently deleted ..next time i will post it once i see it first.. :-)
