Firewall and MalwareBytes

I use Windows 7. I've downloaded MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware. When I try to use the update function, I get a message to ensure that the firewall is set to allow access to the internet.

I've changed the settings in the firewall and selected MalwareBytes as a program that should be allowed.

However, when I go back to try updating MalwareBytes, I get the same message about setting the firewall to allow internet access.

I have a laptop computer that uses the same program (Windows 7) and have no difficulty updating MalwareBytes.

I would appreciate some assistance with this.
