In Topic: Newer version of Antivirus 2010

I have found a solution....Thanks.

I am going to keep this as generic as possible because I believe these forums are being monitored by the programmer of this annoyware. Please contact me via email for additional information.

I do not see any hidden non-plug and play drivers that have been discussed in other threads.

It recognizes all the recommended software even after changing the names of the files as discussed in other threads.

If you are reading this post and do not have this virus yet....

I work at a large company with thousands of PC's and have been following all revisions of this virus and this latest one has baffled me...

Do not click the X or cancel buttons on any dialog box that is recommending any install that you have not requested.

Antivirus 2010 gets installed the exact same way as the others versions by clicking on a dialog box with OK and Cancel as options and if you move the dialog box you will find a tiny browser window behind it that kicks off the install as soon as someone clicks the X to close the dialog box.

Please use task manager to kill all IExplorer.exe processes or just turn your PC off by holding in the power button for 10 seconds.
