  1. BTW, the quarantine directory is empty so can't attach the file.
  2. Just reporting a false positive. Opera Developer 40.0.230.1.0 is flagged as ransoware. See attached.
  3. FWIW. I had the same experience and outcome. I completely uninstalled using the IOBit Uninstaller which removed every single trace of the program in the registry and on disk. I reinstalled and continued having the non-responsive "Start Protecting" problem and then, later, it began working, for no apparent reason.
