  1. He wanted me to thank you all for your results so far. He said he knows that it is a simple survey, however his instructor was only asking for up to three variables to compare for the simple project..
  2. I am trying to help a friend out.. For his Statistics class, he needs at least 100 responses to a quick Food survey with only three questions just so he can get a random sample. I appreciate your participation in this! This is a link to the survey.. No malware, it is a survey through Microsoft Web Apps on SkyDrive. https://skydrive.live.com/survey?resid=2A2C89ED360D3B33!9903&authkey=!ADOkQbHCsLhZRGA
  3. I would recommend MSE for free use, and if you would want to go with paid, Kaspersky works well also.
  4. I do not currently use the Dell UltraSharp that you mentioned, however I have an older model UltraSharp. I would definately go with it, they are great monitors!
  5. I definitely would not recommend to run no AV software.
  6. I agree, it's a false positive because it's Dell's Support Center component.
  7. Is there any airflow over the drive at all or is it in a corner without airflow?
  8. Something that I have made work before is by using a tool on Hiren's Boot CD that regenerates hard drive sectors. That has saved a couple of machines from the Unmmountable Boot Volume if the hard drive is just starting to fail. Here is the download link if you would like to try the bootable CD before you would do anything else. http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/
  9. Thanks guys! Sorry, but I just now found this topic while I was browsing through the forums.
  10. Unfortunately, if you were to cut back on the game's CPU usage, then you would experience lagging and you would not be able to play the game without freezing/lagging.
  11. I would definately just uninstall it.
  12. From my experience, most of the time, if you keep getting that error, it means Hard Drive failure. I'm not saying that this is true for this machine, but just for all of the times I have seen it in the past.
  13. You do not have to pay 70 dollars for Kaspersky. Amazon has a special on it, 1 PC for a year for just 20 dollars. Or 3 PC's for 26 dollars. Here is a link: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=kaspersky+internet+security&x=0&y=0 Also, MSE is the free antivirus that I recommend if you don't go for the Kaspersky deal.
