  1. That seems to have fixed it. Is it now safe and stable enough to install this version over my other 2.2.xx versions? I just don't have the time or patience right now to deal with another crash. Especially on the computers that I use for diagnostics at work. There is little risk of infections as I primarily only go online for software updates with my work PC's. So I would rather wait until I have more time if there is any real risk of it crashing them.
  2. I have 2 computers that will not take the update and remain operational. IE Protection package will not turn on and it will not update so I have left them on the old version. I already have a thread for that problem but have decided to just wait for a proper fix before I allow it to upgrade. This PC however seemed to take the update and all is well except I get a notification that real time protection is turned off. The notification popup gives the option to turn it and it does turn on, but only until I restart my PC and have to turn it on again. I also can't be sure it is updating properly as it says current even right after startup. I ask it to update the progress line dashes across and I again get current. The version information is 3.0.6.1496, 1.0.75 and 10.1658. How can I tell if it is properly updating?
  3. I also could not update once I installed 3.0.6 but my license stayed active. I could not get the Anti-exploit pro so once I uninstalled that I was able to turn the Anti-exploit on in 3.0.6 after a restart. I rolled back to 2.1.8.1057 but I have no idea if that was the latest version of the 2x version or where to find a newer version. If do a fresh install of 3.0.6 after using MBAM cleaner I can get updates buy I cant use my key to activate pro (no valid token found) so it will update on the free version of 3.0.6 only. I rolled back to 2.1.8.1057 again. I'm really not happy with all the time I'm wasting!
  4. Thanks I sent them the information.
  5. I just upgraded to 3.0 and now my license will not work any longer. I still have my reference number. What do I do?
  6. I think I'm good we can close this. I was just very surprised as it has been many years since anything got through. But I guess since it was part of the Firefox update it was allowed to execute. Had it not been for IDM it would have installed but it wasn't malware so I guess I would have been okay anyway. Thanks for your help
  7. Did you see the above post? The download attempt was only once. Only after the upgrade to Firefox from 46 to 49. Firefox explained in their Mozilla support article (see above link) widevine is needed to run DRM like Amazon prime or Netflix in Firefox but only if you don't have Microsoft Silverlight. Even so I did not download it or install it. I use your products Anti-malware pro and Anti-ransom pro. I have Windows Defender, Hitman Pro, Winpatrol pro, Win-Antiransom pro, WinPrivacy and Hijackthis I really don't believe there is any issues as nothing alerted. All three of my machines did this after I upgraded to Firefox 49.0.1 using the Firefox updater and even so I did not allow the download to be done nor for it to be installed. See Google license for widevine DRM .dll

  9. I need to do a search on how to post a log. Once I figure that out I will post it up. However I may not need to as I believe the link is for Google Widevine CDM (Content Decryption Module). I think my upgrade from a quite old Firefox version to the latest 49.0.1 was what triggered the download. I delayed updating Firefox until some of my add-ons became compatible. I don't quite know how to proceed though or how to install it if I need to. http://www.ghacks.net/2016/06/07/firefox-47/ Mozilla added support for Google Widevine CDM in Firefox 47. This is the second CDM that is being made available for Firefox, the first was Adobe's Primetime CDM which was made available in 2015. IDM was able to show me what links were being used to redirect for the download. https://r2---sn-bvvbax-2ime.gvt1.com/edgedl/widevine-cdm/ https://r2---sn-bvvbax-2ime.gvt1.com/edgedl/widevine-cdm/903-win-ia32.zip?cms_redirect=yes&expire=1474931818&ip=68.99.253.46&ipbits=0&mm=28&mn=sn-bvvbax-2ime&ms=nvh&mt=1474917374&mv=m&nh=EAE&pl=18&shardbypass=yes&sparams=expire,ip,ipbits,mm,mn,ms,mv,nh,pl,shardbypass&signature=04E0506EF0C4D54F0F64AB494CAC6FB672CDE1DF.2043CAF2EF66820B8B77ADD1FBB929199FCF9FEF&key=cms1
  10. cwap I go 40 on the brain it is 49.0.1
  11. I upgraded today to Firefox 40.0.1 and once it restarted it tried to download a file called "903-win-ia32.zip" I use Internet Download manager so I I get a popup when a download happens. It was not a selection I made it did it on its own. My initial findings show it to be a Google DRM dll. I did not download or open it I just closed the IDM popup. Do you guys have any idea what this 903-win-ia32.zip file really is? I'm concerned that it tried to download on its own. I wonder if it could have installed itself had I not been using IDM for downloads.
  12. I almost forgot... Do I install MWB program files on the SSD for better response and speed or is it okay to put the files on the 1tb conventional hard drive that I plan to use for all my images, video files and such?
  13. I'm getting ready to upgrade my PC to a SSD and wonder how to manage my very old lifetime subscription. Nothing wrong with my PC at this time just upgrading is all. I'm doing a fresh OEM install from a Dell restore partitian that I coppied to my USB drive. I used the OEM Dell backup and restore program to copy that restore partician to the USB drive. It contains only the OEM operating system and drivers. None of my software or files will be saved to the new drive. My question is how do I keep my lifetime subscription licence? My question is... do I use the key shown in my current software to reactivate? Or Is there an easyer way to do this? My SSD won't be here for a week so no rush.
  14. MBAM Not compatible with Northern AZ University wirless they provide. Daughter comes back for the Holiday with the PC and told me that the NAU IT department disabled both MBAM and MS Defender because it is incompatible with their wireless system. She was having issues connecting and that was their findings. The only thing they left that I put in there for security was the WINPatrol and electrical tape over the camera lens and mic. They replaced it all with Macafee with no other explanation other than MBAM and MS Defender as being incompatible with their wireless network system. Any idea what they are talking about?
