  1. Computer is now working well. No virus or malware appears to be present. The only issue I have is that some apps are no longer working, however I am working my way through them all and reinstalling as necessary. thanks again for all your help and support. Very much appreciated ?
  2. Hi Ron, I forgot to thank you for all your help so far - you have been invaluable in getting my computer back to health... Just happened to run a scan with Avast - for the first time it is no longer showing any viruses! Great news... However, I am concerned about the errors which appeared in the SFC scan last night...

  5. UPDATE Have uninstalled both Avast and Mozilla Firefox, restarted the PC, re-installed latest versions of both... I now have internet access, however, Mozilla is displaying an error message with one of it's DLL programs, when I run a scan, it identifies that there is a virus, if I select REMOVE, it says it has been removed, however the summary screen shows there is Malware. Went to run MBAM again and the following appears... I am now back to square one (with the exception that I now have browser access)
  6. MPC Cleaner is still active and resident - I cannot uninstall, nor stop it running in Task Manager nor delete the program from my C: drive
  7. I have just run MBAM again, and the same infections are discovered - even though I removed them as per your instructions above...
  8. Some of my Apps are not working - "can't be opened using the Built-in Administrator..." including Microsoft Edge Mozilla crashes instantly, Therefore I cannot get online at all. Every time I start the computer, at some point just after the desktop has loaded, Avast! reports an occurence of the Win32patched virus. I will then be prompted to restart the computer and allow Avast to do a deep scan on restart. This takes about two hours. Windows 10 will then run, I login and on returning to the desktop, I try running the apps again - same problem. The infection is re-infecting every time the computer is restarted
  9. OK, tried running MBAM but have received the folllowing error... The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000906)/ Click OK to close the application. Have tried uninstalling - won't work Have tried re-installing - won't work TDSSKiller.3.1.0.9_27.05.2016_23.30.23_log.txt
