  1. Then I logged in with my hotmail/windows account. Unless the accounts track the desktop backgrounds that I last used? Hmmm..
  2. I made a bootable flashdrive with windows 10 in it, then booted with the usb drive. Chose custom install (one that doesnt keep old files), then i deleted all current existing partitions, and installed windows on the unallocated partition that's left (the only one left since i deleted all the partitions). Then just followed through the installation flow.
  3. I just finished reinstalling windows via usb, i used custom install, i deleted all the existing partitions then installed it on an unallocated partition. When i finally logged into the desktop, question is why does it already have my old desktop background? Having deleted all the existing partitions it should have forgotten its past settings right?
  4. Hello! I've decided that I'll just reinstall windows 10 again, not just by the "reset this PC" option, but via usb, since i've read that the recovery partition can also be infected leaving the "Reset this PC" option not safe. Sorry for the inconvenience sir!
  5. Slow windows 10, clean scans but still suspect infection. And this morning when I turned on my computer, it shows the time and the date today, then when i click or press a key it should show the password field right? But it didnt, it was like the field was hidden then i tried pressing random keys and waited simultaneously then it showed up, then i was able to login. This happens now every time i turn the computer on or restart. But really, overall, it got dramatically slower, in most ways, and when i check the task manager most of the time the disk % goes up to 90-100%, and yes i already searched about that, disabling some processes like superfetch etc, but still didn't help.
