  1. Greetings, Whilst waiting for your answer I desperately searched the web for something to do about it, and I came across this short list. I tried it, in this order, and it seems to me the problem is now solved. I have not had any suspicious activity since, and I have rebooted at least 10 times too. Do you think I am on the safe side now? If so, I want to say Thank You for your quick response, and offer to help out, and if it comes back again, I will make sure to come back for help again. This is what I did: Run RKill Run TDSS Killer Run Rogue Killer Run adwcleaner Run Malwarebytes Thank you again, and have a great day now. Sincerely, Tassen
  2. Hello, I have somehow got a nasty trojan.fakealert into my system, and I do not know how to get rid of it. Malewarebytes sees it, and quarantines it everytime it tries to run, and it adds up, fast. The trojan creates a this folder "C:\Users\GrayDawg\AppData\Local\Temp\msupdate71" and sticks a bunch of files inside it. If I delete it (the files, folder, or both), several times as fast as it is created, then it stops, for as long as I work on my computer, do things, mouse clicks, keyboard etc., but if I stop, it starts all over again within 20 or so seconds. I download and ran the Farbar tool, as I see others were recommended to do so, and I have attached both the FRST.txt and Additions.txt to this post. Hopefully you will be able to provide some help in how to get rid of this nastiness. Sincerely, Tassen Addition.txt FRST.txt
