  1. Got notification for an update today, it won't install.
  2. I have been using this for years and the problem remains unfixed. The internet is FULL of people with the other same problem and it goes on ignored. Updating is a crucial part of any security software. Why does it work so poorly for malware bytes? Problem 1: Updates aren't happening automatically. I see a ! in the corner telling me to update, but the garbage program doesn't update unless I manually tell it to. Problem 2: Updates just fail to happen. This used to happen all the time in MB2 but got better in MB3. Problem 3: Clicking 'install update' doesn't work. I click the button and nothing happens. (see picture) This is happening to 4 different computers across two locations so it's not like it's something with my setup. A few random bugs over the years is fine but this is just getting ridiculous. I'm done paying money for this software, when my sub runs out, im done. EDIT: Bug number 4. After updating manually "unable to connect the service." Incredible. Are the developers a bunch of W3 school dropouts? EDIT 2: Bug number 5: Finally got it installed. Now it's hogging all CPU while doing nothing.
  3. Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I figured that using it on a server OS would cause some issues but it definitely did work for a while and then just stopped all of a sudden. Seeing as it's a CDN, is it possible there are multiple external ip addresses behind it and for some reason I am unable to access a few of them?
  4. I have several computers on my network yet this seems to be the only one not able to update. There's no FW on the machine, windows FW is disabled. No AV. Ran a scandisk, everything is fine. Ran MBAM, no threats found. The computer is barely used so the chance of some infection is not very likely. I did a clean install following the instructions listed. I've attached the logs to this post. I did, however notice I have intermittent issues connecting to data-cdn.mbamupdates.com. In the browser, it seems like the link works half times I try and times out the rest. In the program, updates never work. But I can see no reason for this behavior - I can ping, resolve and tracert the url just fine. Addition.txt CheckResults.txt FRST.txt
